Drawing in Space

Parkeergarage De Klanderij

Jeongmoon Choi makes complex, geometric networks of UV-reflecting wires that create a certain sense of confusion. As the wires reflect the light, the space seems to vibrate. Her installations are seemingly virtual and consider analogue and digital ‘positions’, structures, movements and perspectives in space. Jeongmoon is fascinated by the idea of creating installations outdoors and investigating the possibilities of public installations.

Jeongmoon Choi, born in Seoul, Korea, lives and works in Berlin and Seoul. She studied at the Sungshin University in Seoul and moved to Germany in 1995 to study at the Kassel College of Fine Arts. Her work has been exhibited in many countries all over the world.
