My Everything and Nothing
My Everything and Nothing addresses the absurdity of existence by reflecting and reproducing the artist’s experience as a female in society. Concepts become meaningful in a context, yet this does not mean that ideas are closer to a higher truth; there is no singular objective higher truth, there are multiple higher truths. By breaking apart conventional rules for using and performing objects, the artist reflects on societal norms and ideals. In creating new, distorted versions of reality, she encourages viewers to take ownership of their own existence.
