Anne Fie Salverda (NL)

Anne Fie Salverda, an animator and visual artist from Leeuwarden, is fascinated by capturing the world around her. With her poetic animation art, she tells non-verbal stories that are open to everyone’s own interpretation. In the hushed Doopsgezinde Kerk she invites you into her world of thoughts. ‘Fractions’ consists of all kinds of visual impressions that Anne Fie collected and edited with Artificial Intelligence. With almost imperceptibly changing, poetic images she sows doubt about what you actually perceive, enhanced by sounds of the German sound designer Nora Beyer.

Anne Fie Salverda studied at the Academy of Pop Culture in Leeuwarden. In 2018, she won the MAF/LUNA Young Masters Award. Since then, she has been presenting her work at home and abroad.
