Origin is an interactive sound and light installation by Philipp Mohr and Selektivton, which lets participants navigate through a world of light and sound by using electrical pulses produced by their own bodies. Delicate movements can create impressions of explosion and implosion, of stasis and movement. The visual experience is interwoven with a complex soundscape created on the spot, which is also influenced by the participants. The medium between participant and artwork is a theremin, the first electronic instrument in music history, developed in 1920 by Russian physician Lev Termen.

Philipp Mohr (DE) is a lighting designer who develops light-based, interactive installations. Selektivton (Julian Mandernach, DE) is a director, music producer, media designer, philanthropist, hedonist and perfectionist.
