Welcome to the world of the here and now!
The interactive designers Juriaan Gregor, Alène Jeanne Moor and Jay Roderick Heijman together form the collectiveTimbre Vibes.. Their work Timbre is a playful installation that serves as an extension of yourself, namely: of your voice. The sounds you make are converted into vibrations that you can feel and into light that changes color depending on the frequency. The installation was originally intended for a deaf audience, but also offers a deepening of sensory perception for the hearing. Timbre Vibes offers you an all-round experience that draws you completely into the moment.
Juriaan, Alène and Jay study Interactive Performance Design at the Hogeschool voor de Kunsten in Utrecht.
