‘What light is light …’ Shakespeare wrote. By choosing light as its theme, the Microgalerie at the Eewal and Slotmakersstraat is taking part in LUNA.
In the months of November and December, the Microgalerie will be showing the most beautiful poems about light from Frisian, Dutch and English literature in all seven of their windows. There will be projections of poems in a light installation on a phosphorescent background in one of the windows, allowing the poems to connect with you while they slowly keep glowing before they disappear again.
All the other poems also invite the audience to connect with the text and the person who wrote it in a personal way.
The Microgalerie is an independent and approachable platform for modern art with art exhibitions in the windows of people’s homes
